the scoop on us
HRVRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit funded largely by individual donations. In the summer of 2006, HRVRC hired its first executive director in 30 years of operation. Having staff is a tremendous help. However, it means we financially rely on our supporters more than ever.
and what it means
HRVRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extend allowed by law. With your donation, you will receive two newsletters per year, periodic e-newsletters, and a special invitation to all of our forums, public events and outdoor activities. Most of all, becoming a supporter means knowing you are part of a local community-minded organization that for more than 40 years has promoted active citizen involvement as a means to protect Hood River's open space, water and livability.
If you provide an email address, you will receive timely e-newsletters and action alerts that keep you abreast of important meetings, upcoming events and ways to get involved. HRVRC does not share your information with any other organizations.
