A few words to remember
The Hood River Valley is never fully protected – it’s constantly being protected by people like you.
A message from our president
As more people move to the Hood River Valley for its rich quality of life, one message should reach them loud and clear, namely that behind the unique scenery and recreational amenities, the forests and family farms, the vibrant local economy and clean water, stands a culture of wise land use advocacy and longstanding land use laws. A growing population means we face more growth challenges, so organizations like the Hood River Valley Residents Committee need more help. We welcome all residents, whether you have lived here a year or all your life, to help safeguard this unique region - safeguarding that residents started 38 years ago so the Hood River Valley continues to be a great place for us all.
