Become a Member of HRVRC
HRVRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit funded largely by individual donations. In the summer of 2006, HRVRC hired its first executive director in 30 years of operation. Having staff is a tremendous help. However, it means we financially rely on our members more than ever.
Membership
HRVRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership organization. Membership means you have paid your dues within our fiscal year, which runs from July 1 to June 30. With membership, you will receive two newsletters per year, an HRVRC sticker for your car, periodic e-newsletters, and a special invitation to all of our forums, public events and outdoor activities. Most of all, becoming a member means knowing you are part of a local community-minded organization that for more than 30 years has promoted active citizen involvement as a means to protect Hood River's open space, water and livability.
If you provide an email address, you will receive timely e-newsletters and action alerts that keep you abreast of important meetings, upcoming events and ways to get involved. HRVRC does not share your information with any other organizations.
There are several levels of membership. We suggest $35 as a basic membership. For low-income or students, we suggest $10. Please give what you can.
