Land & Livability
Monitoring Program

Our monitoring efforts of reviewing land use applications and verifying that proposals comply with county and state land use laws is the core of what we do. We can always use your help with this ongoing task and would love to provide training for anyone interested in joining our County Monitoring Program.

Adopt a Highway
Keep our Valley beautiful

For the past three years HRVRC has had its own stretch of Highway 35 to take care of and we would love your help! We pick up litter on Highway 35 from Tum-A-Lum Lumber to the Mt. Hood RR bridge over Highway 35, on both sides of the road. Litter pick ups occur 2-3 times a year, usually in the milder spring and fall seasons.

We also maintain Highway 35 between Leasure Drive and Mt. Hood (contact Scott Franke at 541-368-9955 or frankelaw@gorge.net) and Dee Highway near the Lost Lake Road (contact Sara Martin at 541-354-5844 or pearpeople@gmail.com).

Please join us in keeping our Valley route beautiful.
